相信喜歡玩遊戲的玩家, 都會為了玩它而挑選一支喜歡的搖桿, 比較新的遊戲搖桿也都有直接支援[USB plug & play]的功能, 也就是隨插即用!
但往往有些遊戲會限定某些廠牌所提供的搖桿才能在特定的遊戲中使用. 因此, 下圖的搖桿變無法使用在特定的遊戲. 上網搜尋一下, 可以利用JoyToKey這套軟體來模擬使用.

目前系統版本是:Windows11, 當插入此裝置到電腦的USB port時, 就可以在[裝置和印表機]中找到它了.
路徑: 控制台\所有控制台項目\裝置和印表機
在下載安裝後, 就直接開啟此程式了, 畫面如下: 除了左邊視窗會有些不同, 一開始先建立一個Profile, 名稱可以隨意自訂.
在下圖右邊的紅色框中可以加入2組不同設定, 最大可以設定50組.
以[Joystick 1 ]來定義遙桿上各個按鍵所對應的鍵盤上位置. 藍色框為方向鍵往上,目前還沒有設定對應鍵盤上的Key
下圖為當已接上外接搖桿, 按住方向鍵上之後, 在JoyToKey程式畫面中, 在[POV:↑] 上就會呈現黃色框顯示, 然後直接快速滑鼠左鍵二次或是按下[Edit button assignment]去做對應設定.
在紅色框中按下鍵盤上的[W], 再按下[OK]就定義好了! 若是同一個方向鍵有同時其他功能, 也可以在紅色框下面再定義其他對應的key就可以了.
其他搖桿上的方向鍵/按鍵, 都是如此去設定對應鍵盤的key.
再來按下[Configure] , 挑選[Joystick 1] ,然後[OK]. 最後選擇功能表中的[Save]就完成設定了. 
[溫馨提醒] 使用JoyToKey這套軟體,要以[系統管理員]身份執行, 為了方便使用, 所以直接在此圖示上按右鍵\開啟檔案位置,然後再一次右鍵選擇[內容]
直接勾選[以系統管理員的身份執行此程式], 這樣子就不用每次都以系統管理員身份去執行了, 另外在進入遊戲前, JoyToKey程式必需要開啟, 不然進入遊戲後, USB搖桿是沒有任何作用!
總結:
利用此軟體讓USB搖桿可以模擬鍵盤上的任何鍵, 即使用模擬器去安裝遊戲, 也是可以用這套來讓搖桿去對應鍵盤上任何按鍵了!
